Ok I got it to work. Something does not seem correct on HOW I got it to work though. There is 1 component that makes sense and 2 that do not. 1) SB Live Analog/Digital Output jack needs to be unmuted. This make sense because toggling unmute really switches it from analog to digital coax/spdif out. 2) IEC958 Optical Raw has to be on. This makes no sense. The output on the back of the jack is not optical. Its coax/spdif. There is no optical output on the card whatsoever. At first I thought it pertained to +-5v pin headers or some kind of raw optical coming out of the livedrive. It guess its for the coax on the back of the card. Why? The Coax already has the analog/digital switch. Why do you need 2 switches? 3) IEC958 Coaxial. This control does absolutely nothing. muting, unmuting, playing with the volume control does nothing. If I enable A/D Output jack and the optical raw switch, I can mute, unmute, turn the volume up and down on this and it does nothing. First off should it even HAVE a volume slider? there is no volume associted with a spdif signal. Secondly, shouldnt this control regulate the spdif on the coaxial and not the IEC958 Optical Raw control? Wayde
