I'm running Linux Mandrake 10.
This is the first time I'm using ALSA drivers, previously I used OSS drivers that I paid for ....
My soundcard is onboard - VT8233 [AC97 Audio Controller]
The symptom is "skipping" while the song plays, just like a scratched record, but no pop or any other artifact.
Here's the error message: --------------------------------------------------------------
