"Edirol" stands for "Education DIvision of ROLand".  Sometimes it's
written as "RolandED".  It's a brand for Roland's desktop products;
the "Education" is there for historical reasons only.

Sometimes it's called "UM-2" and sometimes "UM-2E", but there isn't
any difference whatsoever.
