"Edirol" stands for "Education DIvision of ROLand". Sometimes it's written as "RolandED". It's a brand for Roland's desktop products; the "Education" is there for historical reasons only. > According to the "Soundcard Matrix"[1], "UM-2(E)" is supported -- I > don't know what the E means, but for all I know, it _could_ mean "Edirol > only" or something like that. Sometimes it's called "UM-2" and sometimes "UM-2E", but there isn't any difference whatsoever. > Is there a chance this interface won't work with the usb-sound > driver? If you forget to plug in the cable: yes. ;-) HTH Clemens ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
