Hello all, Before I used kernel 2.6.2 with alsa 1.0.3, yesterday I did an update to the 2.6.5 with alsa 1.0.4, now I don't have any sound in mmap applications (ex : Quake3).
I read different forums and I saw this 2 commands : echo "quake3.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss echo "quake3.x86 0 0 disable" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/oss It works but after some seconds the game crashes and the sound loops in my speakers. Can anyone help me ? I use the via82xx module and I have sound in all application except mmap.
