More information... It's weird. I've managed to find 8MB Creative (8mbgmsfx.sf2) soundfont and it works all right, while e.g. PersonalCopy Lite (http://www.personalcopy.com) doesn't. It's just below 32 MB in size. GeneralUser soundfont (~26 MB) also hangs. I'm going to try some smaller soundfonts to see if they work.
Unfortunately each try requires me to restart the machine. (sequencer gets locked)
