The MPU-401 MIDI port is for connecting external MIDI devices.

You can enable the FM synthesizer with "fm_port=0x388", but it doesn't
sound very good.

The CMI8738 doesn't have a hardware wavetable synthesizer.  Use a
software synthesizer like Timidity or fluidsynth instead.
