Eric Rose: SB Live mixer is diffrent as Audigy mixer. Audigy mixer doesn't have capture source, just capture volume. To be able hear what you are recording on SB Live: Set volume for Line In, set Master Volume, mute (set volume to 0) on AC97 <- you must do this, set capture on Line In (and capture I think), set AC97 capture volume.
