Hola, I've been playing around a bit with the Revo 7.1, and I was wondering about the surround channels and the OSS compatibility layer. Is it possible to access the 3 subdevices on the particular device (x:2) using /dev/dsp*, or are they only available through the ALSA API?
Also, I know I've seen a lot of discussion about specific configurations being able to do special things with this card (as well as other multi-output cards). Is there a collection of some of this information anywhere? I had been looking for info on setting up separate audio devices for each of the stereo pairs (which I was able to do), but was looking to see what else I might be able to do.
