I built and installed kamix-6.5, and while it looks like a kde app, my
gawd its huge as it shows all buttons/slider of both sound 'cards' at
the same time, taking up nearly all of a 1600x1200 screen.

However, it is complete AFAICT in about 10 minutes of playing with it.

Thanks a bunch, while its big, and it doesn't hide on the toolbar beside
the clock in the lower right corner when the close button is used like
kmix does, it sure looks as if I can do anything to anything all in one
screenfull. Why has this thing been hiding anyway?

Thanks again for the pointer, I think this is going to work just fine.

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
