OK. I rechecked it after configuring the second one. When changing volume with the controls the right speakers are changed. But Using speaker-test 0.0.8 i get a wrong output. Shall i file a bug anyway? > > The second one is: I have a 5.1 Surround System. When listening to music > > i'd like to use all speakers. At least the two front, two rear and the > > subwoofer. After searching for "asoundrc upmix" i found http://funkmunch.net/~triffid/console-tools/asound.conf which works like a charm for me. I tried some channel routing before but the results were disgusting. Now there came one other thing up: When i change the volume for Surround, Center or LFE everything works like expected. When i change the volume for PCM or Master only the Front Speakers are affected. Can i achive somehow that the Master (PCM would be nice too) really changes volume for all channels? And can i somehow get a control for the seperate front speakers? Thanks, Mario
