That's a good observation. The kernel included with Sarge, 2.6.8 comes with ALSA drivers 1.0.4 and it appears that support for the Audigy II 6.1 Value (SB0400) didn't make it into ALSA until 1.0.8. That being said, I'd already upgraded my kernel to 2.6.15.4 which comes with ALSA version 1.0.10rc3. Until next time, Colin. -- Colin Alie BSc, MASc PhD Candidate Department of Chemical Engineering University of Waterlo Waterloo, Ontario N2L 3G1 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
