Lee, I'm not exactly sure how, but you'll recall when I first came to this list I was wanting help with isolating skype from the normal audio stuff, running skype with the nforce2 chipset, and the rest of the system audio thru an audigy 2. Its all working, and I have NO oss stuff even built in my custom kernel tree, currently 2.6.16.
