There are constraints that lead to problems.

Multiple devices will each have their own clock and so will run at
slightly different sample rates, which will lead to regular over-/
underruns.

(The USB audio standard defines an option that would allow devices to
synchronize to the USB clock, but devices usually don't implement this.)

To use multiple devices together, you have to use some utility that
resamples the PCM data from/to one common sample rate.  Try
jack_diplomat.
