OK; just tried with 1.0.11rc4  and still no luck.

Apparently the problem is that the only mixer devices are "Multitrack Peak" which are indicators, not mixers.... So it's impossible to turn the sound up.

Would it make sense trying to set up mapping table for ctl? Ie, to instruct driver which controls are actually mixers?

Hope any of following helps, I'm a bit miffed...
