Hi. Thanks for your reply.  Lspci gives the Motorola DSP chip that is on the cardbus, but not the Layla itself.  In hardware manager, the DSP chip also shows up, and disappears when the card is removed.   It also shows the DSP chip is driven by the Layla24 drivers, which means that my drivers are probably wrong.

discussing the lack of drivers available for the Layla 24 Cardbus.  There is source available in C++, but I don't know if I have the experience to compile something.
