Um, I don't think "capture loopback" is ALSA terminology.  I've never
heard it.  I would call it "input monitoring".

And, there's no such control in the mixer because the mixer reflects the
hardware.  You would build an "input monitoring" control in the mixer
app, on top of the ALSA HAL.

Also, lots of the more advanced devices have poor alsamixer usability
because they're intended to be used with hardware specific mixer apps.  

Isn't this device supported by envy24control?
