2.6.16 uses 1.0.11-rc2. 2.6.17-rc5 uses either 1.0.11 or post 1.0.11. 2.6.17 is not out yet ;-) Many HDA intel regressions were fixed between 1.0.11-rc2 and 1.0.11.
