Yes.

I just tried the firmware update again. It didn't work. Then I
re-plugged the unit and the update still didn't send. Then I
power-cycled the unit. And the firmware update sent OK. So I thought,
why not try sending some saved midi data. OMG! The slider moved. So I
connected ardour, and everything's working OK.

Since then I've re-plugged it, power-cycled it, removed and re-added the
alsa modules. And it's still working. I've struggled with this thing for
2 weeks, and it starts working again now, of all times. And I didn't do
anything differently. Maybe it was the incense I burned last
night... :-\

This is what happened (before it started working again, obviously):

ALSA /usr/src/alsa-driver-1.0.11/usb/usbmidi.c:215: sending packet: [ 1b be 7b

ALSA /usr/src/alsa-driver-1.0.11/usb/usbmidi.c:190: urb status -32

If there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know.

bye
John
