Hi all, I am trying to access the different analogue stereo out ports of a RME Hammerfall 9636. I have installed the Card and the AIO 8/0. My system is a Ubuntu 6.06.1, kernel 2.6.15-26-386, and alsa 1.0.10.
aplay -l gives me this list: Karte 0: R15 [RME Digi9636 (Rev 1.5)], Gerät 0: RME Digi9636 (Rev 1.5) [RME Digi9636 (Rev 1.5)] Untergeordnete Geräte: 1/1 Untergeordnetes Gerät '0: subdevice #0 Karte 1: V8237 [VIA 8237], Gerät 0: VIA 8237 [VIA 8237] Untergeordnete Geräte: 4/4 Untergeordnetes Gerät '0: subdevice #0 Untergeordnetes Gerät '1: subdevice #1 Untergeordnetes Gerät '2: subdevice #2 Untergeordnetes Gerät '3: subdevice #3 Karte 1: V8237 [VIA 8237], Gerät 1: VIA 8237 [VIA 8237] Untergeordnete Geräte: 1/1 Untergeordnetes Gerät '0: subdevice #0 I have also tried a live version of knoppix with alsa 1.0.11, with the same result. What do I have to do to get access to the different stereo channels of the card?
