Hello everybody,
I am in need of an external hard drive for my laptop. (IBM t42p)
Is there any consensus on current quality/low noise options that work with
Linux, or trustworthy sites with specs for different makes/models?
At this point I'm planning on a reasonable (<300Gb) usb2 disk, as the t42
doesn't have firewire. I can settle for a lot less that 300Gb. Should I
consider other options? (1394 pcmcia card etc.)
