With KDE, I use kmix. To use master (which now doesn't work), I just
have to click on the kmix icon on the taskbar, and increase/decrease
volume as I want.

Now that I have to use PCM, I have to:
- click on kmix icon
- click on "Mixer"
- change PCM volume
- close the window

So, lots of unnecessary things for such a simple thing.

Besides, multimedia keys (for volume) on my keyboard use master - which
is very convenient when watching a movie for example.
