Hi all, I am using the beta Alsa 1.0.14rc3. I have an nvidia MCP61 chipset. I am running centos 4.92 (beta 5) basically. I added kernel 2.6.20.4 and recomiled that. Everything is working well except arecord. The command I am using is "arecord -d 1 /tmp/input.wav" This should last only 1 second of recording. It NEVER returns.
Sound out is fine. everything is fine just arecord never returns. I have set the capture to be on the MIC input. What shall I try or do??
