In my casae, the xine lib is used by Amarok as sound engine with own config file. Last one is not related to any xine's runnables. If I try xine-ui with 'xine --audio-driver alsa 01.wav', I get a message saying "Audiodevice is unavailable". The problem exists with 'hdsp' alsa driver only, which has not alsa mixer controls. With 'ice1724' driver all works fine. Of course, 'aplay' works for 'hdsp' driver. ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
