I added it in some script from /etc/rc2.d/

Sorry, but I do not really understand what it is exactly doing. What is
the line? Reading suggestions are welcome.

Unfortunately, not for me. In order to test my microphone, I use
gnome-sound-recorder with gnome-volume-control. Unfortunately, each time
I try to record something with the microphone (which worked a week ago),
 the microphone icons below the Capture and the Digital volume controls
get automatically crossed out.

Concerning alsamixer, I use alsamixergui or something like this, and I
just cannot manage to raise the controls for Mic, for Mix and for Dock.
