If this question is off-topic, please suggest a link to take it. Why am I getting this message from xine? The stream'/media/cdrecorder/Gore3/Chapter3/Politics.mp3 use an unsupported codec. Audio Codec: MPEG 1 Layer 3 CBR (0x0). My Alsa sound works fine, but my Suse10.2/KDE3.55 apps won't play an mp3 encoded CD. My driver is emu10kx for SB220. I'm expecting the problem is related to the LAME license. Surely list members don't all have to build LAME to use mp3! Frank K
