When I use ioctl(fd,MIXER_WRITE(SOUND_MIXER_PCM),&volume) on /dev/mixer using the snd-mixer-oss driver I'm finding that it sets the front-left channel correctly, but always sets the front-right to 0. Is this a configuration issue?
