Hi All,
Recently I built & installed Alsa drivers, libs, & utils from source (we
need version 1.0.24x & stock CentOS 5.6 comes with Alsa v1.0.17) onto my
system and everything seems to be working well except for the udev rule
(90-alsa.rules) to restore user audio settings:
SUBSYSTEM=="sound", KERNEL=="controlC*", RUN+="/usr/sbin/alsactl restore"
SUBSYSTEM=="sound", KERNEL=="pcm*", RUN+="/usr/sbin/alsactl restore"
I can execute the alsactl command above from a terminal and audio settings
are restored just fine-
Just curious, has anyone else encountered this with this particular
configuration or have any suggestions?
