Card 1 is a Nvidia graphic card; it does not allow to play sound on the internal speaker.
I found the solution. The Lenovo P520 is a dual codec workstation; ALC662 (hw:0,0) drives the rear audio plugs; ALC233 (hw:0,4) drives the front audio plugs and the internal speaker.
