Mark, thanks for the pointer. I'm using my own vanilla linux. Anyway, I booted up Ubuntu live CD (I remember you mentioned that when I trying to get sound to work on the previous P1 Gen 6 before), and checked all the modules loaded, and loaded the missing modules. With that, sound and touchpad work now on the new P1 Gen 9. But mic is still not working. Sound is working using SOF. I would really like to get rid of SOF and just use ALSA that worked on the previous P1 Gen 6. Anyone attempted that?
