GAME -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BIERLE BLASTS SASK TO WIN SUMMERSIDE - Colby Bierle blasted two home runs driving in three and Kyle Hyrcuik hit a two run dinger of his own as the Saskatchewan Junior Diamondbacks downed Quebec 9-2 Thursday night. Bierle (2-4), Hyrcuik (3-4, two runs scored), Kyle Rivett (2-3, run scored, two RBI) also were tops. Jean Daniel Doucet (2-3, RBI, triple) and Steve Savard (1-2, RBI) had Quebecs offense. Brady Woods went five innings surrendering six hits, two runs, fanning six and walking two. Pascal Gonthier takes the loss going three and one third inning, allowing 10 hits and eight runs. Matt Greer faced one batter allowing one hit before he was injured with a line shot by Barry Sparvier. Mathieu Benoit came on to mop up.
