In its eleventhgame on the Pro Tour, Team Canada managed to outscore the Racers 6-2, butdropped a close 1-0 decision later that afternoon at Firestone Stadium. In the first of the two games the Senior Women weredetermined to gather as many runs as possible from the get-go. However, the eager Racers retaliated with one run of their own, balancing the score at1-1 after the first inning. In the second, Alison Bradley (Pinkerton, ON) drew awalk, stole second and advanced to third on a wild pitch before being broughthome by teammate, Erin Cumpstone (Saskatoon, SK). Immediately following, with Megan Timpf (Port Dover, ON) and Kristy Odamura (Richmond, BC) on base,Kaleigh Rafter sent one over the fence to make it 4-0 for Canada.
