Greater City of Sudbury
to host two major fastball tournaments
It became
official late this afternoon that Whitefish Lake First Nation
will be host to this year's 2008 All Ontario Native Fastball
Championships for ladies , men and old-timers .This prestigious
Native tournament will go on from the 22nd to the 24th of August
at the Lorn Brady Memorial Park in Garson with the two championship
games being played in Whitefish.For further details on the tournament
interested Native teams should contact Bob Naponse or Rachel
Pattison in Whitefish at 692-1304 ,cell 698-2011 , fax 692-1407

The Northern
Ontario Fastball Championship for ladies and men (3rd annual)
still goes one week prior that of August 15th to 17th also at
the Lorn Brady Memorial Park in Garson .The deadline for entries
in this tournament(fee of $375 and your roster) is still Tuesday
August the 5th .
