Subject: Results in league play ;the Northern and Native tournament
advertised on Al's Fastball
Friends and fans of fastball
The league standings
have gotten interesting in the Rick McDonald Memorial Fastball
league following play on Wednesday evening in Whitefish.In the
opener the Athletics picked up an important 5-3 victory over
second place Pickerel River Cardinals .In the nightcap through
some miss communications Whitefish Lake Steelers collected a
7-0 forfeit victory over top place Dog House North Stars who
were a no show. Following those victories we now have a three
way tie for third position and the Cardinals with their loss
still have a chance at 1st place.
Both prestigious
fastball tournaments for August in Greater Sudbury [Northern
Ontario Championships as well the All Ontario Native ] are now
well advertised on Al's Fastball web site.
