Subject: Simcoe Rural Fastball League - Week 3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Simcoe County, ON Three weeks into the season and the Toanche Brooklea Eagles were finally able to set foot on the diamond and kick off their 2006 campaign. One problem. They were playing the Vasey Countrymen. Vasey pitchers Jason Phillips and Brad Robinson held the Eagles hitless as they marched to a 10-1 victory to improve their season record to 2-1. In other action, Graham McNabb and the Wyevale Tribe put a halt to Perkinsfield's two-game winning streak as he held the Bantus to two hits while striking out 14 in a 7-2 victory. The Tribe improved their record to 2-0. After a lengthy break, the Minesing Monarchs showed no signs of their time off as they dominated the Uhthoff Nationals by a score of 14-3.
