Subject: 2007 NAFA Masters World Series - Aug. 2nd. update -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rockford, Illinois Carson City, Nevada The NAFA Masters World Series is just over a month away and the number of teams is growing every week. Currently there are a total of 41 teams who have verbally committed for the Eastern Zone Championship in Rockford Illinois. The Western Zone Championship in Carson City Nevada currently has 32 verbally committed teams. It sure would be nice to see a few more Canadian teams come on board for 2007. The Canadian hopes will rest on the shoulders of two teams, the Ladner Masters from Delta, British Columbia and the Cobourg Force. Ladner will compete in the 40 & over age class in Carson City Nevada. The other Canadian entry is the Cobourg Force from Cobourg Ontario who will make the 11 hour drive to Rockford Illinois and will compete in the 40 & over age class. For the Eastern Zone Championship teams will be coming from Wisconsin, Ohio, Illinois, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Nebraska, Indiana, Iowa, California and Ontario Canada. The Western Zone Championship will see teams from California, Wyoming, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Washington, Utah, Texas, Oklahoma and British Columbia Canada. Eastern Zone Championship September 8 & 9 ( Saturday and Sunday ) Rockford Illinois 35 & over, 40 & over, 45 & over, 50 & over Format 3GG, 2RR then Single Elimination Coaches and Umpire Meeting Friday night 7pm at the Complex First Game Time Saturday at 8 am (everyone must come fly in Friday) Championship Game is Sunday at 3 pm Western Zone Championship September 15 & 16 ( Saturday and Sunday ) Carson City, Nevada Format 3GG, 2RR then Single Elimination Coaches and Umpire Meeting Friday night 7pm at the Complex First Game Time Saturday at 8 am (everyone must come fly in Friday) Championship Game is Sunday at 3 pm Please forward this email to any player or team that you know may be interested in the NAFA Masters for 2007.
