Subject: Midget_“B”_Tournament_Results:_OASA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Midget “B” Tournament Results Results from August 3rd to 5th tournaments in Paris, Ontario “A” Series resultes: The Newmarket Stingers win 4-1 over Linwood in the “first” championship game of the series. Chepstow and Ponsonby came in third and fourth place, respectively. Ponsonby and Newmarket scored victories over the top seeded, Napanee (1-2). Maybe Mike Gallant or Lindsay could post some scores here. Stratford clubs were curious as to what was happening in Paris this weekend. Game Notes: Orleans scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to force and axtra game in what was called, the “what if” game. Tired Orlean pitching arms and persistent Select bats allowed Owen Sound to pull away for a 6 inning “A” championship win.
