Subject: NAFA AA MAJOR - fargo scores -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Al I am just letting you know by the time you will likely get this that the great staff at the NAFA AA in Des Moines Iowa may have already got you the game details and all but NEW IMAGE is undefeated and has to lose twice against a very hot FARGO KEGEL KNIGHTS, who after falling to the losers bracket played back to back to back to back games and then the win in the semifinal then the final (it is ongoing as I send you this) Just some scores from what I would call an amazing run so far by the Knights. Saturday; opened beating Herzog of St Joseph Missouri 9-0, then lost to New Image in a game that had just 4 hits total, two by each etam, lost 3-1; Mitch Hardy of PEI struck out 12 in that game; faced Palazzo's Java House of Des Moines Sat afternoon winning 10-3; then the incredible run starting at 8 am CT; Beat Brandt's of Springfield, Missouri 7-5; then they dispatched Lincoln, Neb., based Braz Springs 4-1; before beating Wilkomm Mobil of Kenosha, Wisc., 5-0 and then Reasnor RPM'S of Reasnor, IA., 5-1. Then came their lone long break of the day (at least from looking at the schedule) of an hr and a half at most. Kegel then begun again taking down Galesville, Wisc.-based Wilber Lime 8-2 to advance to the final NEW IMAGE will have to be beaten twice by the Knights to lose the championship, so the games could go til 12 a.m. AT (10 pm CT). The boxscores and more details I am sure Brett and his great crew will be up following the game or first thing Monday.I am sure after the guys have had their time to rest from a busy day. I just thought your readers/viewers may want some scores and as I am following the event, thought I would pass on ones I have ok.
