I can do mobile stuff: Android, iOS, WinPhone (in that order).

But, as the new President of the local Redmond group, I would also like to
extend the call for speakers to the Redmond .NET Dev Association
(www.dotnetda.org), which meets on campus in the Steptoe room. We're open to
a variety of different topics, traditional .NET topics or "alt" or
otherwise.

Our next meeting on 2/14 (which may be of interest to your group, Ryan) is a
"Zero to HelloWorld on WindowsPhone" event-bring laptops (ideally with
developer bits pre-installed, but not critical), and we'll bring phones
(well, the WinPhone guys here in campus will bring phones, not me) to get
attendees to go from knowing nothing to pushing a HelloWorld app onto a
device. We're also planning a "MVP night" for the 2/28 meeting: a series of
quick presentations and follow-up Q&A with Microsoft MVPs in town for the
Summit.

(Ryan-what nights do you guys meet? I'd love to coordinate out-of-town
speakers with you, so they can hit our group and yours back-to-back.)

Subject: Looking for speakers

Would anyone like to speak at the Bellingham .NET User Group (BDNUG) in
upcoming months? In particular, we're looking for speakers on the following
topics:

1. jQuery
2. Silverlight
3. Orchard
4. Optimizing IIS
5. Mobile development on WP7, Android, iPhone, etc. (could be
individual or bundled)

We're open to additional ideas, and we're only 90 minutes away! I'll even
treat you to dinner. (I know, how can you possibly turn that down?)

Thanks!

Ryan Riley
