Because I am paying my own way, I have a Dell XPS-15 on order as it's one of
the cheapest sandy-bridge 1080P laptops I could find.

It's at least $1K less than a MacBook Pro. I have the last generation
MacBook Pro 15 SSD but I need more horsepower and storage for photo
editting. It is bigger and heavier with less battery life...

I took advantage of a EPP promotion that I found online at fatwallet.com a
couple weeks ago (new promotion every week), $1148 tax and shipping included
(including graphics, dual band WiFi/Bluetooth, backlit keyboard upgrades)
and they threw in 2 years of in-home service... They tossed in an unlocked
5" Dell Streak 5 Android (Froyo 2.2) tablet phone for $99 more...
