Well, we haven't unplugged a server exactly, but when we drainstop one of
them, we don't have the problem. We have also identified that customers
hitting the subdomain of a specific server allows them to proceed through
our site with the right session state. So I think that matches what you are
talking about. :)

I assume you have tried just unplugging one of the servers to see if session
state is renegotiated properly?
