Colleagues, During the ALTO WG meeting at IETF 80 it was requested that people review draft-ietf-alto-reqs-08 to ensure that the stated requirements do not conflict with any upcoming CDN work.
Today I read draft-ietf-alto-reqs-08 in detail and it is my opinion that while the use cases for ALTO & CDN may raise additional requirements, none of the current requirements would prevent the use of ALTO in the context of a CDN. However, my reading of the draft generated a number of comments which I will detail in a separate e-mail to the mailing list.
