Hi all, I have submitted an updated version of the bottleneck structure graph informational I-Draft, which includes now network slicing as a use case. We will be happy to provide an update on bottleneck structures and some of these use cases during IETF 115. Comments are welcome in the meantime.

Bottleneck structures are efficient computational graphs that allow network operators and application service providers to optimize application performance in a variety of communication problems including routing, flow control, flow scheduling, bandwidth prediction, and network slicing, among others. This document introduces a new abstraction called Bottleneck Structure Graph (BSG) and the necessary requirements to integrate it into the ALTO standard. The IETF Secretariat
