Hi all, re-sending to ALTO mailing list this call for adoption of draft-contreras-tvr-alto-exposure (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-contreras-tvr-alto-exposure/) in TVR, since it could be of your interest.
The draft proposes an off-path mechanism for the advertisement of scheduled changes in the network topology, and takes ALTO as example of off-path mechanism for doing that, since the cost calendar feature of ALTO makes a perfect fit for that. Certainly, there could be other solutions apart from ALTO serving as off path mechanism. When applied to TVR, the draft identifies potential additional work on ALTO for those interested in ALTO. For instance, the support of cost calendars with time overlap and priorities (as per requirement 3.2.7 in https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-tvr-requirements-04.txt). With this mail, I would like to ask for interest in supporting the draft in TVR. If any of the people on the list don’t know how to proceed, please let me know, and I will help. Any positive or negative comments can help improve the solution, so it would be more than welcome to collect the voices of interested people on the TVR list.
