Yes!

Under Linux, at least:

      altosui --fetchmaps <lat> <lon>

will cause it to pre-fetch the images needed for the area centered on
that location.  

I know there was conversation about adding that feature to the GUI, but
I don't think it has been done yet.  Hopefully AJ or Keith will chime in
if I'm forgetting something.  

We clearly should add something about this to the manual, too.
