O.K.... I *finally* found a good link the news section of the main site.
(Of course Bob, why didn't you look there first ??) Sigh....

(....from the release notes for 1.6.3 I was confused as to the status (i.e.
testing, beta, or ???))

More to the point, I gotta now figure out how to make this sign-up deal
play cuase I have a mixed log-in for my google store accountS. (Yeah
plural, and the phone is split to boot !!)

SO.... off the funs-ville for me....
