It wasn't all earlier units, fwiw, but specific date codes on the CC1111 RF system on chip parts from just after TI moved production from one fab to another. The units built with suspect parts are TeleBT v1.1 sn 1070-1189 TeleDongle v0.2b sn 1378-1593 Some of these work just fine, but we had ridiculously high failure rates in production testing, and a few more have given customers trouble. If you have a unit in one of these ranges that's giving you RF trouble, don't waste *any* time trying to re-cal it or anything like that, just let me know so I can set up an RMA number for you and replace it.
