My TeleBT actually worked the first couple of times I used it, then it was no longer functional. May have been temperature related as I have seen the Tx behaviour change as it warmed up. I can imagine it working on the field in our winter, then failing later in the season.

Yeah, I just don't know. Certainly once the cc1111 has been replaced,
the units were solid, but the marginal chips have enough mysterious
behaviour that maybe they'd change over time?
