It looks for an amanda.conf file for a configuration called "#added".
This is probably because "#added" is the compiled-in default of the
configuration name. Try using your configuration:
amrecover DailySet1
instead of just typing "amrecover" and expect everything to work fine.
(you didn't RTFM, did you?)
