Hi Frank,
patch (the samba2-20000418.diff patch is against samba-2.06,
while samba2.diff is against samba-2.05) as follows:
Suppose the untarred AMANDA files (version 2.4.1p1) are all in
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/amanda-2.4.1p1
and the patch file samba2-20000418.diff is in /home/chris/amanda.
Then do:
cd /usr/src/packages/BUILD
patch -p0 < /home/chris/amanda/samba2-20000418.diff
and be happy :-) (but check for reject files (.rej) anyway...).
