You have to have additional kernel drivers to access something like
a robot on Solaris.  One possibility would be sst that comes with
Amanda 2.4.2 (and is independent of the version of Amanda).  There are
instructions with it about how to install, etc.  In general, you'll end
up with a /dev/rsst<nn> device that you can then point Amanda at.
